Overview of the role:

Highly organized and detail-oriented Product Information Manager to oversee the management of our product information and digital assets. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, consistent, and up-to-date product data is available for our ecommerce platform and other channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large datasets, implementing PIM and DAM systems, and leading teams of translators and copywriters.

Description of Accountability:

<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>PIM System Management: Oversee the implementation and optimization of the PIM system to efficiently manage product information, attributes, and hierarchies. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Product Information Management: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product information across all channels, including ecommerce. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Translation Management: Lead a team of translators to deliver high-quality translations of product information in multiple languages. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Digital Asset Management: Manage the DAM system, ensuring efficient storage, organization, and retrieval of digital assets. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with solution providers, define requirements, and enforce training and best practices. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of translators and copywriters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, SLA, and delivery timelines. Optimize workload and leverage AI to improve efficiency and reduce costs. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve product information processes and workflows. </li>
<li class=”paragraph” style=”text-align:justify”>Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure product information needs are met. </li>
</ul>

<li style=”text-align:justify”>Excellent English skills (speaking, writing and reading). Arabic would be an advantage</li>

<li>Candidate with a proven track record in managing large datasets, implementing PIM and DAM systems, and leading teams of translators and copywriters. Preferably has previous supervisory / auditing experience,</li>
<li>Solid understanding of marketing, media and technology.</li>
<li>Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Ability to succeed in a multi-cultural environment.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>High level of initiative, problem solving and decision making ability.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Target oriented and drive to exceed demanding challenges.</li>
</ul>

<li style=”text-align:justify”>Bachelor’s degree in digital photography, Advertising, Illustration, marketing, or a related field.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in ecommerce with hands on core SEO & Merchandising</li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Proven experience in product information management, including PIM and DAM system implementation. </li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Strong understanding of ecommerce requirements and product information standards. </li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Experience leading and developing teams. </li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. </li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Knowledge of multiple product categories and related terminology. </li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Experience with AI-powered tools for content creation and optimization. </li>
<li class=”paragraph”>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li>
