What You’ll Be Doing
As our Senior eCommerce Executive for Zimmermann Middle East, you will play a critical role in optimizing the website experience and facilitating the content and localization process for all market specific projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for evaluating market performance, managing localization projects, coordinating with language professionals, sharing local market insight, and making recommendations to align our digital experience with local market standards.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Digital Performance & Experience:
• Analyze market performance and sales conversion data, and work with the wider digital team to improve effectiveness of content, marketing campaigns and website experience to drive local market growth.
• Set up an ongoing benchmarking exercise to understand the experience expectations of our clients and constantly monitor the market for progressive service experiences and initiatives.
• Partner with the Buying and Planning team to develop inventory strategies and annual plans to support specific market needs.
Project Management:
• Initiate and oversee Middle East ecommerce projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement translations projects.
• Work hand in hand with the Digital, CRM and Retail teams to ensure that clients have a seamless content and translations experience across all purchase and communication channels.
• Collaborate with Digital Delivery, Digital Content and Translation Partner in troubleshooting and triaging all website experience and translations issues.
• Manage and document the business requirements and processes for internal, cross functional and team education.
• Work with Digital Teams and Translation Partner to integrate and maintain the website and translation management systems.
Content Localisation & Merchandising:
• Partner with the Digital Content Manager to ensure consistent ecommerce experience, whilst maintaining a localisation lens.
• Maintain presentation of the website for content localisation for the region including homepage, navigation, VM, product and Z.Immerse.
• Support with product upload and product presentation, ensuring highest quality of product display and content accuracy in local language.
• Support with website VM localisation for key categories and product performance, in-line with brand weekly content focus and the global activity calendar.
• Provide suggestions for localised content initiatives to support with engagement and client activations for the region.
Quality Assurance:
• Implement quality control processes to ensure accurate and high-quality website content and translations.
• Maintain translations glossary with each collection launch and ongoing brand calibration requirements for Middle East.
• Collaborate with TransPerfect and internal proofreaders to review and edit translated content to ensure a high-quality translation experience.
• Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and sensitive to the target audience.
• Provide guidance to internal teams and TransPerfect on cultural nuances and brand specific requirements.
• Conduct regular quality assessments of website and translation services.
Client Services
• Support with local market Client Service responses that are in accordance with our policies and procedures – with particular focus on product and brand knowledge.
• “Going the extra mile”, ensuring a seamless brand experience, and exceeding client expectations at every interaction.
• Support with responsive and effective client services responses across all communication channels – phone, email, live chat and social media.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant industry or related field.
• Ecommerce trading, content and site merchandising experience preferred.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Experience in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is a must.
