Job Title – Joinery Production Supervisor/Incharge

Job Description

Candidate should ideally have 5-7 years hands-on experience in supervising a high-end interior and joinery fit-out factory with knowledge of all aspects of furniture construction including but not limited to; cabinets, furniture, wall paneling systems, doors, etc. The candidate must be fully conversant with all types of manual wood working machinery and to be fully conversant with all types of wood working CNC machinery and their associated programs

Key responsibilities:

•Supervise and coordinate daily factory operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

•Schedule and assign personnel to projects in factory and on site

•Capable of prioritizing production work flow, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

•Lead, train, and manage a team of skilled workers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

•Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.

•Collaborate with Operations manager, Production manager, Procurement, Drafting, Estimation and other departments to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.

•Monitor inventory levels and oversee the procurement of materials to support production needs.

•Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.

•Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the factory.

•Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, documenting progress and any issues for management review.

•Ability to read AutoCAD drawings, identify materials and finishes required.

•Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD

•Have an excellent eye for detail.

•Must posses good oral and written communication skills (English)

•UAE driving license is an added advantage.
