We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
- Prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Develop plans for construction, including the layout, materials, dimensions, and specifications.
- Collaborate with civil engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.
- Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Review and verify design plans and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and practicality.
- Create detailed drawings for project phases including grading, drainage, utilities, and road layouts.
- Maintain and update project documentation and drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors and other construction personnel to ensure proper implementation of designs.
- Perform site visits to gather relevant data and verify existing conditions when necessary.
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Draftsman in the civil engineering field, with a solid understanding of civil design principles
