Overview of the role:
• This role is responsible for end-to-end development and management of the Global aftersales revenue planning, budgeting, and reforecasting process. Liaising with internal, regional, and financial stakeholders to secure understanding and buy in
• The role leads the Aftersales business development reporting strategy and the provision of accurate and effective aftersales information. This includes developing and delivering reporting solutions to meet the needs of internal customers and principal requirements
What you will do:
Strategy
• Play a leading role in the development of the strategic agenda in Aftersales and help drive its execution; coordinate, prepare and create strategic reviews and business plans on a regular basis
• Assist in the delivery of the management agenda – taking the lead to identify and drive initiatives designed to build the businesses, improve financial performance, operating efficiency, and risk management
• Identify and address the top issues/opportunities for performance improvement across the team
Business Planning & Performance
• Monitor and track performance, highlighting opportunities and areas of concern in a timely manner for actions to be worked to address.
• Leading the development of the Aftersales reporting roadmap, pro-actively propose developments and improvements
• Work with relevant business heads on specific projects/deep dives and ensure follow through; provide timely updates on issues/projects
• Represent commercial aftersales interests and present at departmental briefings across the business functions as required.
Reporting
• Create the process for annual revenue/cost budget and forecasting process
• Work with the aftersales team to maintain a rigorous cost and investment discipline across
• Develop & maintain an effective reporting cycle to monitor business momentum and to pro-actively highlight potential issues; develop & maintain regular reports such as business Scorecards, Revenue Reports, Pipeline Reports, etc.
Required Skills to be successful:
• Commercial acumen, clear strategic thinking and ability to create buy-in and influence at a senior level
• Strong data analytical, evaluation and interpretation skills including P&L
• Target oriented and drive to exceed demanding challenges
• Business analytical and Data management skills
About The Team:
The position will report to Head of Planning & Performance and interfaces with various stakeholders. You will be working in a busy and fast pace environment.
What Equips You For The Role
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management or equivalent
• 3 years of experience at an OE supplier or a major OES vendor
• Expert knowledge in the automotive after-sales industry
