We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant Cost Controller to join our team in Al Wadi, Riyadh. As an Accountant Cost Controller, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the cost activities of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze cost data to identify variances and provide recommendations for cost control.
Prepare and review cost reports and financial statements.
Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies for cost reduction and process improvement.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms.
Preferred Candidate:
Minimum 2 years of experience in cost control or accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals and bank statements.
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation of documentation and schedules for external audits.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations, and prepare and file tax returns as required.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
This role provides comprehensive accounting support, managing the entire accounting cycle, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end closing. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with overseas teams and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Description
Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), and daily accounting operations.Ensure timely payments by sending payment reminders and communicating directly with clients regarding outstanding invoices.Generate reports for financial analysis, such as accounts receivable aging reports, credit control reports, and other trend analyses.Reconcile sales receipts and bank statements to ensure accuracy.Assist in maintaining the fixed asset register and prepare fixed asset schedules, depreciation schedules, and related journal entries.Collaborate and provide support to operations teams across overseas offices.Contribute to the month-end closing process by assisting with task completion and preparing necessary schedules.Participate in ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Profile Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3-6 years of experience in accounting.Strong personal qualities including proactiveness, self-motivation, meticulous attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a high sense of responsibility.Ability to adapt and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.
