Role Objective / Purpose
The Country Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the team in achieving individual and team sales targets of the Kitchen & Laundry department (wholesales)
of their region. Furthermore, the position is also responsible for following branding guidelines, and ensuring
customer satisfaction. S/He provides due leadership to the country’s salesforce and also provides
the necessary support.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop the annual business plan of the region in coordination with the Head (Director) whilst
ensuring its alignment with the annual business plan
• Provides the expertise and objectivity to analyze and evaluate business development
opportunities, including expansion in different sectors and the introduction of new products
• Stay abreast of customer requirements and recommend the introduction of new products to the Division Head
• Coach, train, and support the team in achieving individual and team sales targets
• Works with the salesforce to prepare performance metrics, set sales targets, and reporting
requirements and presents monthly progress to management toward achieving agreed targets
and performance metrics
• Assist the Division Head in preparing performance metrics and sales targets
• Maintains effective market intelligence and early warning service related to market trends and
anticipated future developments to identify potential opportunities and threats and suggest
appropriate executive action
• Assist the Division Head in sales forecasting / reforecasting activities
• Assists the Division Head in developing market penetration strategies specific to the position’s
assigned region
• Continuously examines and recommends improvement opportunities related to service quality and
operational processes in order to increase customer satisfaction
• Works closely with the Head (Director) in the development of all market research and provides
sufficient/timely feedback
• Ensures collaboration across sales teams to broaden the spectrum of sales
• Ensures the teams are compliant with company policies
• Ensures the confidentiality of the Company’s information and enhances the Company’s reputation
• Ensures sales resources have received appropriate training on sales techniques and relevant
technologies and tools
• Identifies training needs of the salesforce and design and estimation team in coordination with HR
• Evaluate the performance of the respective country’s salesforce and the design and estimation
team and provides sufficient feedback and development opportunities
• Produces periodic sales reports for management review
Meets with Clients to understand their requirements
• Maintains effective market intelligence specific to the customer requirements and early warning
service related to market trends
• Recommends marketing activities that could enhance sales performance
• Evaluate salesforce headcount and specialization requirements based on market intelligence
• Oversees the designs developed by the sales consultants to ensure they are in line with the client
expectations
• Coordinates with the Operations to ensure procurement, supply chain, and installation services are
efficiently provided as per agreed schedules
• Collaborates with the Procurement Department in evaluating and recommending new suppliers /
manufacturers
