As a Government Relations Officer you are responsible for processing and carrying out all transactions relating to visas, permits, licenses, registration, pertaining to employees, hotel vehicles and the hotel itself, liaising with various Government Departments and Agencies and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Process all types of visas including employment visas, residence visas for employees as well as for entertainers
• Process and renew of permits and licenses including hotel trade license, liquor trading license, chamber of commerce certificates of registration, civil defense certificate for the hotel, etc.
• Process and renew of entertainers permits/N.O.C through Department of Tourism
• Registration process and renew for all hotel vehicles
• Obtain permits for special promotions such as raffles, publishing or advertisement displays as required
• Be up to date with regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws / rules / regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures and keep the Human Resources Department advised of such changes
• Submit relevant documents periodically to the immigration / labour office with regard to cancelled / absconding employees and delete from the hotel’s sponsorship list
• Complete departure and exit formalities for employees after cancellation of visas
• Obtain quarterly sponsorship reports from the immigration / labour office and tally sponsorships and re-submit to immigration / labour office with relevant support documents

As a Laundry Supervisor you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our guest is met on time and with the highest possible standards, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Assist Laundry Manager in enforcing policies, procedures, rules and regulations as per hotel standards
• Supervise and monitor the performance of the laundry employees in order to maintain established standards and provide efficient service to the guests
• Responsible for proper handling of guest and house laundry and establish standards and procedures to ascertain quality of work performed
• Liaise with linen room to ensure that there is adequate clean linen and uniforms and maintain a neat work area
• Follow up with engineering department on preventive maintenance and repair orders
• Check daily production according to priorities and assist in the activities of the maker
• Counter checks that all items processed are spotlessly clean as per hotel standards and guest satisfaction
• Ensure that laundry employees are knowledgeable about hotel services and facilities

As an Electrician you are responsible to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures to ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Maintenance of all M&E and HVAC equipment within the hotel complex with special emphasis on health safety

• Maintenance and repair works of all mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation equipment, ensuring the on-going safe and efficient running of the hotel

• Fix mains / domestic single and 3 phase supplied distribution systems and all lighting and in-house power installations / appliances

• Assist with all emergency services, e.g. fire alarms, lighting, batteries and standby power requirements, inclusive of generators

• Control systems to M&E related processes e.g. general equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shavers sockets, etc. and all guest and service lifts

• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and ensure conformance to building and safety codes

• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters and test lamps.
